My first flight experience..

 

A dream came true. Watching an aeroplane from my roof to watching my roof sitting in an aeroplane, was just a mesmerizing moment for me. A rainy day, sky covered with clouds and my mind completely lost within those foggy clouds. Yes, it was the day of 29th June' 2023 when I boarded my first flight ever. We woke up early in the morning as excitement was at it's peak to see an aircraft with an inch away for the first time ever. We booked a cab to drop us to the airport. Millions of interesting thoughts running, receiving calls from our dear ones for wishing us a safe journey and clicking mandatory selfies was all about our way to the airport. We reached the airport too early. A bit confused, a bit tensed but at the same time a lot happy too. Of course, tensed because it was all a new experience and had a negative thought of missing the flight for any unforseen reason but the best part was that we had ample of time with us. Was looking all around where to step next, after reading instructions on screens and taking help of guides present there, we completed our check-in process. Seeing our bags on conveyor belt till they got disappeared showed our love towards materialistic thing. It was for the first time that we were seeing more than a dozen aircrafts infront of us feeling like as if they were not real but some sort of toys. I could clearly see tears of happiness in my mother's eyes and she was also proud on us that we gifted her with such a dream present. We ordered burgers and soft drinks before rushing to the boarding gate. After waiting long for the boarding to get started, we got to know that our alloted boarding gate was changed. Finally, the boarding started and we boarded our first flight at 10:40 a.m. I sat on my pre-booked window seat. The take-off began and the plane was running very speedily on runway. The moment it left the ground, I experinced a funny stomach drop feeling and that was the most enjoyable part of the journey for me. Now we were totally covered by clouds around us giving us vibes of a totally different world. It was a short duration flight of approx an hour. The time of landing came and pilot announced that because of bad weather conditions we were not able to land, this just brought my heart in my mouth. But soon after because of pilots expertise we experienced a successful landing. We came out of the plane, collected our luggage and this brings an end to one of the most beautiful journey of my life..
